About PM Vault

Calm tools for real projects — nothing hidden.

PM Vault builds simple tools to run real projects: one place to see your money, your schedule, and what's at risk — in plain language, on your own computer, bought once and yours to keep. Every number shows its working, so you can always see how it was worked out.

Why we build this way

Most tools ask for faith. They hand you a date, a percentage, a RAG status, and trust that nobody asks how it was calculated. In a steering committee, that is exactly the question that ends the meeting: so what is the real status?

PM Vault answers it differently. Every figure an instrument reports can be opened, traced to its inputs, and reproduced. Schedules are measured against a baseline; flow is measured as flow; a hybrid is reconciled, never silently averaged. The method is on the page next to the number. This is how every system we build works — not only the project-management line.

The four principles

These hold for every system PM Vault builds — not only the project-management instruments.

01 · Offline

Nothing leaves your machine

Client-side software. No account, no telemetry, no server. Disconnect the network and every instrument still works. Your portfolio is not someone else's cloud.

02 · Glass-box

Every number shows its sources

Open any figure to its inputs and its method. The simulations publish their seed; the same inputs give the same answer, every time.

03 · Paradigm-pure

The right method, honestly applied

Predictive measured against baseline, adaptive measured as flow, hybrid reconciled. Mixing them quietly is how tools become generic. We refuse.

04 · Sourced

Standards cited, never faked

Where our instruments reference a standard, they cite it as authority and never reproduce it. What we claim, we can point to. See the sources →

What's in build — the next two systems

The architecture that runs the project-management line is being applied beyond it. Two management systems are in build now, both offline, glass-box, and yours outright. Founding members get early access and founding pricing on each.

Founder OS In build

Operational management · business systems

The system for the operational side of running a business — drafting, approvals, records, decisions. Every step documented, defensible, and run entirely on your machine. The management layer that lives around your projects, not inside them.

Command Center In build

Unified command · portfolio + operations

One view across the whole operation — portfolio health, operational status, team, money — with the same glass-box arithmetic underneath. Built for the person who needs the complete picture, not a curated selection of it.

Independent by design

PM Vault is an independent publisher. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or certified by the Project Management Institute (PMI), AXELOS/PeopleCert, or Scrum.org. We align to recognised concepts — PMBOK® 8th Edition, Earned Schedule, flow metrics, schedule-quality checks — and we cite them as authority. We do not reproduce the standards, and we do not claim their endorsement.

What's here, and what's honest about it

The site shows exactly what is built today: which instruments are live to fly, which are in build, and which products are documents you can preview. Founder OS and Command Center are the next two systems — both in build, both announced before they ship, because that is how the founding list works. Where something is not yet shipped, we say so. Where a price is not yet set, we do not invent one. The whole brand rests on one promise — that nothing here is faked — so we hold the marketing to the same rule as the software.

Questions a careful buyer asks

Is it really offline?
Yes. The browser edition is a single file that runs on your computer under a policy blocking every external host; disconnect the network and it still works. Your project data never leaves your desk in either edition. The sole exception is disclosed in full: Foresight's Windows app checks licences bought from 26 July 2026 with our server, sending the key and a one-way machine fingerprint — never your work. See the EULA →
Is there a Windows app?
Yes, for Foresight — and one licence covers the Windows app and the browser edition. The Windows app stores projects on your hard drive with no project-count limit and attaches real documents to RFIs, submittals, changes and risks.
What does "PMBOK® 8-aligned" mean — are you affiliated with PMI?
No. PM Vault is an independent publisher, not affiliated with, endorsed by, or certified by PMI, PeopleCert/AXELOS, ISO, or Scrum.org. We align our methods to recognised standards and cite them by name and edition. We reproduce none of them. See the sources →
How do I get it, and what does it cost?
Buy once, own it — Solo, Pro, or Firm depending on how much you run. Self-serve checkout, instant download, 14-day money-back. Foresight Lite and the Field Guide are free. See pricing →
Which tier is right for me?
Solo is one project at a time. Pro covers unlimited projects for your team. Firm covers everything across your whole firm. Pick the one that fits — no form, no sales call. See the tiers →
Running a whole group?
If you need it set up for a whole team or group, there's a quiet "let's talk" option on the pricing page — a door you can choose, never a gate you have to pass.
What formats do I get?
Documents ship as PDF and Word. The Toolkit is XLSX and comes in three boardroom themes — Vault Noir, Executive Light, Slate Corporate. Every download includes a Sources & Citations file, licence, and read-me.
Refunds?
14-day money-back on Library purchases, no questions asked.
Can I see proof it works, not a marketing claim?
Yes — that's the point. Each instrument passes a release gate before it reaches you: tens of thousands of automated checks, its engine validated number-for-number against an independent reference, and a network audit proving zero data egress. See the standards each instrument cites →
